- What top 10 search engines do you submit to?
We submit to: Google, Yahoo, Altavista, DMOZ, MSN, All the web, Lycos, Hotbot, AOL, ASK JEEVES and more.
- Is this someting you do or is a software packege you email me?
We do the submission and send you the proofs. The proofs are a list of all the engines you made it to. We do all the work for you, so its not a software package.
- Do I get any reports?
You get what we call "proofs". They are a listing of all the search engines your site made it to and a total of what sites you made it to.
- What do you mean by getting 3 pages or 12 pages of my website advertised?? Don't you just advertise my website, and then people can enter it??? Why so many pages? Does 1 page mean my cover page, page 2 means product page ect.... I thought I just advertise my website in general.
For each page, we can get about 3 keywords or phrases high on the search engines...
So lets say....
page 1 http://www.yourdomain.com
page 2 http://www.yourdomain.com/gadgets.htm
page 3 http://www.yourdomain.com/things.htm
For page 1 we can get three keywords listed high
Now we advertise even more then your main page and get 3 different keywords high on the engines.... People coming in from a search engine may come in from
http://www.yourdomain.com
http://www.yourdomain.com/gadgets.htm
http://www.yourdomain.com/things.htm
So you could with the three pages have up to 6 keywords bringing
in traffic on three different pages. Keywords or phrases may be:
gadgets (1 word keyword)
black gadgets (2 word keywords)
black and gold gadgets (more then 2 word keywords)
Its been our experience that most people type in more then 1 word.
- How long does it take to submit my web site?
We will have the job done within 24-48 hours of receiving payment. If you have ordered our larger packages, we will submit your first web page within 24-48 hours and then over the next few months to 1 year depending on the package you order, we will keep advertising you every month to 2 months.
- How long does it take to the search engines to index my site?
This is totally dependant on each search engine. This can be anywhere from 2 days on some of the newer search engines and up to 3 months on the more popular ones. It used to be about a 6 week period, but we have noticed the search engines are slowing down. Be very patient. If you want to appear on a search engine right away, your only other alternative is to pay that search engine their monthly or yearly fee
- How will I know my site was submitted to the search engines?
After every submission, we will send you via email "proofs" which show what search engines your site made it to. You can then check periodically to see if your site has been registered by that search engine and where it places for your specific keywords.
- What payment methods do you accept?
We take payment through paypal, which accepts VISA, MasterCard, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS. If you need to pay by cheque or money order, let us know.
- How many search engines will my site be submitted to?
At least 1600 search engines and indexes and possibly 1700 (the number in our database is 1744). We do all the leading search engines. We cannot guarantee inclusion in to the search engines as per specific search engine rules. There usually is no problem. The most popular search engines we submit to are: Altavista, Yahoo, Google, Lycos, DMOZ, Direct Hit, Northern Light, All The Web, Scrub the Web, National Directory, Rex, WhatUSeek, Ah-Ha, Info Tiger, Search It, MSN, Nerd World, Splat, ThunderSeek.
- Can you guarantee me position #1?
No. With the larger packages like #2, #4, #6, and #7, we will check your site rating over time and resubmit to give you higher listings. Very many sites make top #1 position but this all depends on what keywords your interested in and the competition surrounding them.
- Can you guarantee that my site will get listed?
No. Some search engines may refuse to index you for what ever reason. When you order our larger packages like package #7 we will try over time to get your site listed. This overall has proven very successful but takes time.
- What search engines do you focus on?
Mainly Google, Yahoo, Altavista, Northern Light, DMOZ and Microsoft Search! All the main large search engines and 1700 in total. Every site submitted has at least made it to 1600 but most make 1698 search engines.
- Are these monthly or one time fees?
All fees are the one time fees *not monthly*. No packages are monthly, yet.
- How do you modify my pages?
For packages #3 - #8, we ask that you send us the web pages you want to score high and modified. We then make our changes to the hidden parts of the web page and count keywords. We then send this back to you and you upload it to your server or you can have us do this for you. After the page is uploaded with new changes, we then advertise the page for you. This ensures you will get much higher standings then you would normally.
- How long will my website continue to be pulled up as a response to peoples searches?
They will continue to be listed on the search engines, until you take them off, or break the rules by spamming, or other cheating methods. It is very rare for clients to break any of the rules so they should stay up as long as the search engine is up.
- What exactly do you mean by "enhancing" our website?
Enhancing means this. When you pay for a package #3-8 you get enhancing. You show us what pages you want advertised. Send us the page and we will "modify" and enchance it to score higher. We then send it back to you, you upload that to your server and then we will advertise that page. We do this to make your page
score higher. (if you need us to get the page and then upload it for you, you will have to provide us with your host information.
INFO WE NEED:
Hostname (where to log in)
usernmae (the username you log in with)
password (the password)
After you order a package, the form will ask you for the information above so we can upload it for you. If you wan't to do it yourself, we will send you the modified page.
